When I was starting out as an actor in San Francisco I took all kinds of different acting classes and improv was a big part of that. My goal was to work in film and scripted theater, but I loved improv and I felt it gave me so much confidence and tools for other kinds of acting. Then I had an improv class that scared the crap out of me.

We have been selected to perform Lost in Translation at the Sweden International Improv Festival in Uppsala on February 26th, 2015. We are really fired up for this festival which we host awesome acts from all over the world. Uppsala is less than one hour from Stockholm, so get your butt over there and watch a show, or take a workshop! #SWIMP15

IT’S is offering a one hour free trial workshop. Get a taste of improv theater and see what it is like to take a class. Bring a friend if you like. If you can’t make this one we will be holding them frequently.
August 27th, 2014 IT’S kicks off it’s fall season, and we are having a party! You are invited! Come to Cafe String on Nytorgsgatan 38, meet friends and fellow students, have a couple drinks and see some improv.
IT’S Students will open up and then IT’S Teachers and special guest, Chris Grace, will close out the night. It will be awesome!
Are you Swedish, love improv and want a new challenge? Or do you love improv and your primary language something else than English? Then you should take an improv class with IT’S. Our classes usually have 12-16 people in each class and can have up to 1o different countries represented. All you need to take a class with IT’S is conversational English skills. Don’t worry about being perfect.
It is amazing how improv unites people no matter what the cultural background people share, because at it’s core improv is all about acceptance and learning how to work as a team. Join the community!
The fundamentals of improvised theater can have such a positive impact for almost any work environment. Last week IT’S was at Ericsson working with a group from all over the world and helping them get out of their comfort zone and learn the power of “yes-and”. Talk to us about how improv can help your organization.
