IMPROV AFTER-WORK JAM
This event provides an open stage for anyone who wants to perform improv. Come put what you have practiced in class into action! Come and get some stage time with a supportive crowd! Anyone who wants to play, gets to play. You don't need to be an ITS student, you don't need to be in a group, and you don’t need to buy a ticket. Your experience level does not matter - whether you consider yourself an improv expert, a complete beginner, or anything in between, you are welcome!
Just show up and play! The hosts (Jeff and Heather) will mix-and-match players of different levels in a series of games, scenes and groups, to make it fun for everyone.

THURSDAY NIGHT IMPROV
Students who see a lot of improv shows generally develop their own improv skills faster. As an IT'S student you always get a discount on tickets to IT'S shows.
This spring International Theater Stockholm (IT'S) brings a new hilarious improv show to the basement of café String - in English. It’s the perfect place for some after-work beer and comedy.
Show Dates: February 7, February 20 (Wednesday), March 14, March 28, April 11, April 25, May 2, May 16, May 30
Show Time: 19:00
Location: Café String, Nytorgsgatan 38, Stockholm
Do you want to get on stage and be a part of our show IT'S Thursday Night Improv? We are looking for improv groups to perform in the Opening Act. Each show we will select two groups that will get 10 minutes of stage time to open the show. So put together your team of at least two improvisers and apply now!
It’s always so rewarding to see so many of our IT'S friends come out to our shows, workshops and all the stuff going on in our community. From the foundation of IT’S, we always wanted more than a theater, we wanted a vibrant, fun community of people from all over the world with a shared passion.
Social Event Planners
Do you want to plan a few social events for our community over the summer? We are looking for one more social event planner to join the team. You'll be organising 2-3 events from June - mid September. The events can be as simple as going for drinks or doing a putlock picnic in the park. Are you interested in joining the team? Send us a message on firstname.lastname@example.org.
The IT'S Student Facebook Group We have an IT'S Student Facebook Group that we use to keep you up to date about things that are going on at IT'S. But it's not just for us; it's also for you. So do you want to share an interesting improv article or plan a fun activity for IT'S Students? Feel free to use the Facebook group! In the past students have organised birthday parties, Brännboll, Halloween parties and after works for our community. You don't need to be a teacher or intern at IT'S to post in the group, share ideas and organise social events. Go for it! Not a member of the IT'S Student Facebook group yet? You can find it here
Get Involved: Internship Opportunities at IT'S
Want to intern at International Theater Stockholm?
We welcome Rebeka Lapos and Ellen Rosdahl as our stage production team. We are still looking for people to become our social media marketing intern. Read more below about our different internships and how to apply here.
You have received a welcome email with everything you need to know about your class. If you want to read back the email, you can also find it here.
Do you have questions about classes, shows, etcetera? Here's what you can do:
If you have a question, please check out our FAQ page first to see if you can find your answer there. Check out our FAQ page here.
If you still can't find the answer to your question, you can send an email to email@example.com. We check and answer emails about once a week, so don't worry if you don't get an answer immediately. If you haven't gotten an answer within a week, feel free to send us a reminder.
Contact your Teacher
Do you have an important question about your class specifically and it can't wait until the next class? In that case you can contact your teacher over mail or phone. In the welcome email you can find the contact details of the teachers.
We really appreciate your feedback and that's why we want to show you that we listen and that we think about it. Here we will share some of the feedback we receive and our response to it. Do you have feedback for us? Feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We might not respond to all of the feedback, but we do read and consider everything.
"It would be nice to have a place where we can easily find back information on classes and student events"
We've been thinking about a system to make it easier for you to find back all the information you need. That's why we've created this page. This page for everyone who's taking a course at IT'S to easily find back information about your class or upcoming events.* We hope it will give you a better overview. Thoughts? Let us know!
* We will keep on sending out emails as well and it's important that you read these to make sure you don't miss anything important.
"Why don't you add more level 2 and 3 classes?"
It's a lot of work to put classes together and so we only do it if we think we can fill it. If you're interested in taking a certain level, but your are not signed up because the dates don't work for you, we'd love to know about it. That way we know if we could potentially fill a second class.
"I would like to see more themed workshops with a show in the evening"
We try to offer as many workshops as possible and are planning to have even more in the future: not only improv theater, but also clowning, acting and writing. In order for us to be able offer more workshops, we need to grow. Help us spread the word, recommend us to your friends and share our events on social media. If you want to get more stage time, sign up for the Opening Act at Thursday Night Improv. There are still spots available!
